Two Hurco CNC machines grind out parts for the motorsports team located in Indianapolis, Indiana. In return, the Hurco logo is displayed on the team’s cars and uniforms in addition to special access for customer events during the IndyCar season.

The coin and sculpture stock material were engraved with QR codes, Hurco logo, and IMTS 2018 label in the Fanuc robot cell using a Keyence laser marker system. Additionally, the visitor’s IMTS badge name was transferred by the Hurco Job Manager to the Fanuc robot cell to instruct the laser to engrave it on the part prior to machining.

We're pretty pumped here at Hurco since both Hurco cars have great starting positions for today's 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500. Owner/driver Ed Carpenter (who is a hometown boy) won the pole (see the Hurco 50th Anniversary Logo on the front of the #20 car in the picture above?).
