OP claims this is “DIY” (ie “Do It Yourself”) Hue. There are very many posts like this in this sub, folks approximating the experience with cheaper or different parts. Or comparing Ambilight TVs and not mentioning they aren’t actually Hue.

Nov 27, 2022 · I'd build a little lip on the bottom of each shelf, and then attach a light strip behind each lip. This will illuminate each bottle from above, which ought to be a pretty neat effect! Make sure to diffuse the strips as well, and route all the cables along one of the wall corners!

If you need something denser, I was talking to guys at https://sowilodesign.com/ that make hue compatible but denser led strips, still waiting for an answer if they can make me something litcessory compatible, but technically it should be possible.
