In May 2023, LtCol Rateike reported to MATSG-21 in Pensacola, FL and assumed the role of Executive Officer while also earning his initial instructor qualifications in the TH-57. He joined the team at HT-28 as the Prospective Executive Officer (PXO) in July 2024.
