Apr 11, 2018 · This mIII model doesn't have bass eq, which HS-PC 202 seems to have. In terms of design / looking I find the ''m'' prettier. At the moment I'm counting the relative usage length with a pair of AAA cells from discounter market, till now 4 x C-60, 1 x C-90 and counting.

Oct 20, 2022 · Properly serviced/maintained and working, listening on a HS-PC202 will not disappoint. It, like a Sony WM-DC2, does not need equalisers or fancy bass boost. Instead it let's the quality of the recording shine through unaided. The WM-DC2 with its disc drive system will beat the HS-PC202 in terms of stability and wow and flutter however.

Jul 27, 2018 · Hey all I just started my tape head adventure and bought a new in box AIWA HSPC 202 M III, just got her setup last night and she seems extremely quiet even on max volume, using the b-c noise reduction makes it almost too quiet to listen to in an even silent room.

The sound coming out of the headphone jack is pretty good, but it's clear that something needs serious lubrication in here. I've had it for a few weeks, but I just got an adapter to power it so this is the first time I've played anything with it.
