
Honda XR650L instead of CRF300L? : r/Dualsport - Reddit
The XR is more comfortable (for me) to ride and I don't see a reason to sacrifice that unless the other option is considerably better off-road and the 300L isn't. It's not bad but it isn't better . There's about a million year supply of xr650 parts on the planet DVD there easy to work on.

However, I am just very disappointed with my current situation and treatment by Honda warranty service department, as well as the dealership telling me to bite the bullet and pay for the clutch then deal with warranty stuff afterwards. Side note: clutch parts are on back order for a couple months.

Dec 29, 2023 · No necesita nada especial ese xr, ponele mineral, la viscosidad no te hagas drama eso solamente en temeperaturas extremas afecta, como lugares onda ushuaia o santiago donde hace 50°. aca en Bs As no le va a pasar absolutamente nada por ponerle 5-10 o 20-50 es todo lo mismo, mientras hagas lo cambios en tiempo y no la lleves a fondo no pasa nada.

Mar 26, 2021 · No tengo experiencia con una más de ruta, como sería la NS, pero te digo que con la XR vas a tener una moto muy fiable, y tus viajes van a ser más diversos que la NS. Esta hecha para andar por caminos de tierra y ripio, se banca mejor los baches de la ciudad, con la relación que trae podés meterte en cualquier camino de montaña.

Apr 4, 2023 · The 12 liter tank is fantastic, gives it a far greater range than pretty much any other stock XR model. There are a ton of thing you can do to it, especially as it uses essentially the same frame as the XR125, so if you want racks, skid plates, different sized sprockets for higher top speed (good for road travel) or for higher torque, etc, etc ...

The XR gets annual maintenance - oil/filters/etc. The Beta gets maintenance (oil/filters minimum) every 10 hours or less - which typically translates to a few hundred km's at most. Both are brillant machines, but they do different jobs.

Oct 2, 2023 · That said, the XR does seem to be pretty well built for the price (compared to Chinese bikes and whatnot). I don’t mind the carburetor, as my XT is also carbureted and it seems fine. The drum brake in the rear is not ideal, but then again a TW200 is the same.

Sep 17, 2023 · Hello! SEAsia XR owner here. Currently clocked in at around 4000km and had no problems so far. Some people over here use this bike for enduro and has no major issues with it. It could be the abundance of parts due to it being sold here for nearly a decade now or was ironed out with each 'new' (change of colorway) release.

May 2, 2021 · So ahhhh, after taking the carb apart, and cleaning the pilot jet and the problem continuing, I YouTube'd cold start XR150 it turns out I was using the choke incorrectly, bike doesn't idle with the choke on, boy do I feel dumb.
