1991 Honda Civic ED6 EF Hatch: Regular Car Reviews - Reddit
The Australian model only has a 1.2l engine though, with about the same HP as that EF Civic (something like 76hp). The Canadian Micra has a 1.6l with 109hp, it's a different car, made in Mexico.
EH/EG/EJ. What is the difference? : r/civic - Reddit
Apr 14, 2024 · EG was a chassis code used most notably for 92-95 hatches sold in Japan. However, unofficially the term EG is used as a blanket shorthand for any 5th generation Civic since it's much shorter to type. Similarly, 4th Gen Civics are often called EF and 6th Gen Civics are called EK regardless of their actual chassis codes.
The EF Civic was truly the start of Honda's golden age.
Even the 1.4 dual carb version of the EF hatch still has the well tuned independent suspension, excellent steering feel and great throttle response that's inherent that the SiR has. That was carried over the 5th and 6th generation as well. They were great cars from the start and could only improve with proper modification. Reply reply snf3210 •
Possible engine swaps for 91 civic ef : r/Honda - Reddit
Nov 12, 2014 · Possible engine swaps for 91 civic ef What's up reddit? I just bought a 91 civic ef. D15 w/4 speed manual trans. Body is straight, but the motor is a dog. I think the rings are gone, but that's not the point. Instead of rebuilding this desperately underpowered 200k+ motor, what kind of swaps should I consider that won't take a ton of work?

What's the best web FORUM for EF Civics? : r/Honda - Reddit
Dec 22, 2020 · EF-Honda (gone for a while, turned into GridLife), CRXCommunity (mostly for rex’s, used to be a mod there), and d-series.org would be my top picks for EF-forums. OneCamOnly was pretty dead but had some crazy builds (like that Finnish dude with like a 200hp D16?). PGMFI had a lot of old timers.
