
Pictures of my Homemade Log Splitter-Ideas for Hydraulic Tank?
Dec 24, 2008 · I've seen the threads on 'lets see the homemade log splitters', but am having trouble visualizing "how" to build up the space between whatever I use for my axle and the bottom of the beam. Kind of thinking about making a 4' wide by 3' long table to support the engine and hyd. tank, plus a toolbox or milk crate-something to hold my junk.

Aug 26, 2015 · It started life as a 126 gallon upright propane tank. I cut the top out and started with my ash pan. Then I added some legs and a feed door frame. Added a heat exchanger adaptor to the tank and a water cooled baffle. Built a cardboard heat exchanger template. Then built a heat exchanger mounted it and started the water jacket floor.

Oct 29, 2007 · The tank has three sensors - from top to bottom, the green, orange and brown lines. The black and magenta lines are the EKO outlet and inlet. The two horizonatl lines near 60 degrees are digital signals - the top one is baseboard demand, and the bottom one is the zone valve that allows heat to go to the storage tank.

Dec 21, 2011 · I have been playing around with ideas for a plywood tank. I would like to make a tank that fits in a storage area that I have. I have roughly 6.5' by 8.5' to work with. I'm a carpenter so plywood and framing lumber are my materials of choice. Here is a quick sketchup drawing of what I am considering for the tank structure.

Jan 13, 2009 · On the concrete tank idea, if also (you probably thought of this) you put 3/8" or 1/2" rebar between most of the pex lines, you may get a stronger tank and more heat transfer. Just an idea. The best IMO is the new or used propane tank. My 1000 gal used propane tank is problem free. But it is a beast.
