My very first crabpot took almost a whole weekend to build. I was working with a set of vague instructions and was pretty much on my own. About half-way through my first pot, I went to install the top and side piece and discovered that I had made my U-bends in the wrong place and the pot would not fit together properly.

Dec 21, 2007 · If it's a comm type pot, with no iron on the bottom oh and galvanized wire with about 20' of rope, no buoy (if tied to a pier) and one zinc bar...the pot should cost you around or close to $18.00. Lots of crabbers and crab lovers on here.

Dec 21, 2007 · They are a bit bulkier than the standard mesh pot, and those points(if not ground down good) tears you up bad when reaching in the pot for your buoy and rope, or the Jimmie crab that wont come out. Maybe down there, zincs aren't nessacary Speaking of which, I just heard zinc prices are supposed to be up around .10c/.15c more this spring.

Let's see - you need the piece that goes on the motor shaft to bolt the sheeves to. Oh, you need the sheeves (plain steel will probably be around $100 - stainless is a whole lot more).

Feb 10, 2006 · In soup pot (Dutch kettle/Spaghetti pot) add oil or melt butter and add celery, carrot, onion and garlic. Add beef cube meat and brown at medium high heat. When almost brown added potatoes and all beef broth. Cook on medium high for 15 minutes. Add corn, tomatoes, peas, and green beans to broth and Worcestershire sauce and stir thoroughly.

Jun 24, 2005 · I came accross several rolls of plastic coated crab pot wire mesh and started making some crab traps. I don't have the pliars to make the stainless steel wire loops to connect the baitwell and sides so i have been using plastic zip ties.

Feb 10, 2006 · I just added a few shakes from the bottle and that was enough for the whole pot of soup. just a little drizzle as the srtuff is very concentrated. It gave it that HHHHHMMM what is that ingredient that is a little different.
