The Holte End is a large two-tiered stand at the south end of the stadium. Originally a large terraced banking with accommodation for more than 20,000 spectators, the current stand was constructed in 1994–1995 and consists of two tiers with no executive boxes.

May 7, 1994 · In February 1940 work was completed on building up the banking on what was now called the Holte End, which took its name from the Holte family who owned Aston Hall and the land on which the ground now stands. The end was completely open, and was only partially covered in 1962 at a cost of £40,000.

The Holte End terrace was expanded in the 1930s and development even continued during the Second World War. Reflecting the popularity of the game in England, March 1946 saw a record crowd of 76,588 watch Villa play in the FA Cup quarter final against Derby County.
