HLA-DR6 - Wikipedia
HLA-DR6 (DR6) is a broad- antigen serotype that is further split into HLA-DR13 and HLA-DR14 antigen serotypes. DR6 serological reactivity is relatively poor compared to other serological tests for DR antigens. Compare to DQ2 or DR7. DR13 and DR14 share a common association to myasthenia gravis. [6]
HLA-DR - Wikipedia
HLA-DR is an MHC class II cell surface receptor encoded by the human leukocyte antigen complex on chromosome 6 region 6p21.31. The complex of HLA-DR (Human Leukocyte Antigen – DR isotype) and peptide, generally between 9 and 30 amino acids in length, constitutes a ligand for the T-cell receptor (TCR).
Human Leukocyte Antigens and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: A …
Many studies on associations between human leukocyte antigen (HLA) allele frequencies and susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) have been performed. However, few protective associations with HLA-DRB1 alleles have been reported. Here, ...
Human leukocyte antigens and systemic lupus erythematosus: …

Association between human leukocyte antigen-DR and …
We found a statistically significant increase in the HLA DR3, and DR7 serotype in GBS patients, while the HLA DR6 serotype was statistically significantly increased in the control group. This indicates that HLA-DR6 is a protective allele against development of this disease.
Human Leukocyte Antigens and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: …
Feb 3, 2014 · This is the first identification of a negative association of HLA-DRB1*13:02 and *14:03 with SLE. Our findings support the dominantly protective role of HLA-DR6 alleles in the pathogenesis of SLE.
HLA-DR - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
HLA-DR, which is part of the human leukocyte antigen subclass, is an MHC class II cell surface receptor that is ciphered by the human leukocyte antigen complex located on chromosome 6. From: The Choroid Plexus and Cerebrospinal Fluid, 2016
Journal of the Chinese Medical Association - LWW
HLA-DR2 was significantly more frequently found in SLE patients than in controls (odds ratio [OR] = 2.05, 95% CI, 1.44-2.92, p < 0.001). Notably, HLA-DR6 appeared to trend toward negative correlation with SLE, whereas HLA-DR8 appeared to trend toward positive correlation.
Primary sclerosing cholangitis is associated with extended HLA
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is associated with the human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DRB1*0301-DQA1*0501-DQB1*0201 (DR3) and HLA-DRB1*1301-DQA1*0103-DQB1*0603 (DR6) haplotypes.
LPA suppresses HLA-DR expression in human melanoma cells: a …
We showed that LPA (0.001–10 μM) dose-dependently increased DR6 transcript levels through activating LPAR1 in HEK293T cells. Knockdown of NF-κB1 abrogated the LPA-increased DR6 expression without affecting basal DR6 expression in both A2058 and A375 melanoma cell lines.
