W.A. HITT Decorating Co. was founded as a small, family-owned business in Warren and Myrtle Hitt’s home in Arlington, Virginia. Their first job was an enclosed porch at a residence in Falls Church, Virginia.

While we’ve further expanded our service offerings and project scope in the years since, we never tire of the sight of a tower crane with the HITT logo rising high above the skyline. To us, it reminds us of where we’ve been and inspires us to keep building.

The Next NGA West (N2W) project, a new campus for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in north St. Louis city, has been awarded to the design-build team of McCarthy HITT with Black & Veatch Gensler JV, and Akima, LLC.

We are honored to share our logo with our clients’. We use lit tower cranes, custom large-scale signs and wraps, and don’t cut corners on our fencing and trailer signage. HITT signage is professionally designed, produced, and installed, and of the highest quality.

The HITT Contracting Headquarters project consisted of building four stories in the LEED buildings in Fairfax County.
