PRESERVING HISTORIC GRAFFITI
Survey and record or coordinate with building owners to salvage historic graffiti before structures are renovated or demolished. Maintain buildings and structures to protect historic graffiti from weathering.

Hobo Signs - Code of the Road? - Higs
Feb 2, 2020 · In our travels we've documented over 1,000 individual pieces of hobo graffiti. These marks generally contain the hobo's moniker (assumed name), the date the mark was made, and the direction of travel.

Apr 18, 2019 · The depot is now on the grounds of the Minidoka Historical Society Museum which is well worth a stop. Melissa gave us a full tour and was incredibly helpful, providing us with some additional places to visit in the area with the potential for graffiti.

UNDERGROUND - Higs
While less of a project, and more of a discovery, this is where our love of historic graffiti began. From 2008 to 2014 we spent a few weeks each year exploring abandoned mining camps and mines that remained open.
