Sep 10, 2017 · Ashland seems to have the college town/hippy vibe from what I've read. Medford seems to be like a typical city with some good and bad areas. It does seem that Ashland is more expensive. I know Grants Pass is more out of the way, but it seems more reasonably priced than Ashland. We like being outside and I would love to have a yard.
