While this isn’t the car from the move, it’s been painted to look just like it by a Love Bug fan, but was for sale here on eBay .

Giselle was a female 1976 Lancia Monte Carlo (Scorpion was for the U.S. market) and Herbie's first love interest. Herbie fell in love with the beautiful Lancia at first sight, and chased her during the Trans-France Race qualifying round.

Giselle is Diane Darcy 's 1976 Lancia Scorpion race car who appears in Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo and is Herbie's first love interest. Her name is never mentioned until the end of the film and is only referred to by her make name Lancia. The romance of Paris struck Herbie when he saw Giselle move onto the starting grid.

Herbie, the Love Bug is a sentient 1963 Volkswagen Beetle racing car which has been featured in several Walt Disney motion pictures starting with The Love Bug in 1968. He has a mind of his own, being capable of driving himself and often becoming a serious contender in auto racing.
