UVLayout is a stand-alone application for the creation and editing of UV texture coordinates for 3D polymeshes and subdivision surfaces.

Download and open the ZIP file below to install the Demo version of UVLayout for Windows platforms. If Windows Defender blocks you from running the EXE, click More info to enable the install. See Installation_Guide:_Windows for full installation instructions

UVLayout can be purchased in three different versions: Professional, Hobbyist or Student. There are no restrictions on who can buy what; anyone can buy a Student license if they’re happy to accept its limitations.

The Demo version is free, but expires after 30 days; you will need to purchase a license if you want to keep on using UVLayout after that. Note: After 6 months the lock resets, so you will be able to test future releases if you decide to not purchase the current version.

These flattened UV shells are not just planar projections; an optimizing algorithm is used to spread the UVs out, as you watch, so that there’s minimal stretching, compression or skewing of textures when they’re applied to the object.
