The Head Mage of Artimé is the ruler of Artimé. Magically, they are tied to Artimé's existence; they are the person who restores Artimé, and Artimé will disappear with their death. They have all the power in Artimé, and used to get their own room in the not-a-secret-to-anybody-anymore hallway.

Aaron is initially an antagonist but gradually comes to support Artimé. He helps the Unwanteds soon after being rescued by Alex on the Island of Shipwrecks. He later becomes Head Mage when Alex is killed by the Revinir.
