The Giant Harpy Feather is a rare crafting material used solely to craft Harpy Wings. It has a (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 1/150 (0.67%) / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 1/200 (0.5%) chance of being dropped by Harpies.

Build your harpy area, place a candle on a platform. Wait for a bloodmoon and kill them all night. After about 150-250 regular feathers a giant will drop. I've farmed a few of them now.
