This mint unknown for the reign until this hoard (2019) where two coins (including this one) were from Guildford. A genuine rarity in good condition.

Harold II, or Harold Godwinson (and sometimes just as Harold), was the last crowned Anglo-Saxon King of England. He became King on 5 January 1066 and died on 14 October 1066 at the Battle of Hastings. Harold was born in 1022, son of Godwin (alt. Godwine), Earl of Wessex and Gytha Thorkelsdóttir.
