Sep 7, 2021 · This X77 speaker would obviously best suit someone with an actual x77 organ (if you are out there, this listing is in Indianapolis). I understand it is a 12-pin speaker, and that the connections might be complicated, but is there any reason (other than its size) that would argue against using this for one or both of my Hammonds?

Nov 7, 2023 · Hello, I recently acquired a hammond x77 organ with the leslie speaker. The two main issues im having trouble with is significant humming/crackling from the amp and the pedal board is completely out of tune. Hoping for some advice please.

Jan 15, 2007 · I have recently acquired a Hammond x77 Organ with the matching x77P leslie speaker. When it is plugged in and turned on I can see and hear the tonewheel turning but all that comes out of the speaker is hum and static. I have removed the flourescent bulb above the keyboards that helped but there is no sound when the keys are depressed. Someone sugested the power supply, someone else the preamp ...

Oct 17, 2008 · Re: Hammond x77 I had an X-77 for awhile a few years ago before I acquired my X-66. A nice sound and much like a B3 along with other voices and arpeggiator. Mine was noisy, pops, clicks, spits while I was playing. Removing the fluorescent lamp in the music rack and replacing it with rope light was the biggest contributor to eliminating the noise.

I acquired an x-77 Hammond from a family that was moving i think the organ is from the early 70's organ sat for what looks like 25 years. i know nothing about organs except for youtube videos. I got my fire extinguisher out and plugged it in. worked but made squealing noises from the electric motor.

Jul 29, 2014 · The X77 can get you more of a Hammond sound, but of course it has a few extra interesting voices too. It basically combines an H100 with a cut-down X66 by the looks of things. So maybe great for the best of both worlds if it's your only Hammond console. The X77 tone cabinet also is a Leslie too, whereas the X66 is just vibrato only.
