With the Halo Series, it's just objectively bad. The covenant feel on par with the insurrectionists. Kwan is bad. I have no concept of the greater universe in this timeline and instead of people bitching about budgets and parent rivalry. I'd rather get info on the rest of the universe and not a breakdown on what it means to be human.

The halo series made me give up hope that any tv adaptation of a video game would feel like it was made for people who actually played the games. Then I watched Amazon’s Fallout series, and it was so clearly made for the gamers by people who understand the games.

It gets the respect that much better games deserve, because mediocre people are LOUD. The story has been absolute shit since the beginning. It would have been far more surprising if the series had been really good.

The games changed dramatically between every single game. Even the old Bungie trilogy. So whenever you started playing Halo, that is YOUR Halo. You gotta hate every single Halo before and after to be a "true" Halo Fan.
