Hu Tao was released before Honkai Star Rail was announced. Even though developers are usually ahead of public knowledge by a few patches, it is unlikely that Sparkle has already been developed enough at that time for Hu Tao to take inspiration from.

Jan 16, 2022 · Weapon currently death match but I have Homa but I want to keep that on Ha Tao for my 2nd main for the abyss. Is it worth trying to pull for the jade before the week ends or should I wait and buy black cliff and r5 it? I’m seeing stats for BCr5 are just barely under the jade r0 but I’m not trying to whale out.

Dragon’s Bane and Deathmatch are about equal on Hu Tao. With Deathmatch you need to get EM from the artifacts and/or from the team. This weapon makes easier to balance the crit ratio, and benefits more from team buffs and other external buffs.
