I cannot find any instructions online for this that is specific to the ZBook series. Anyone have any idea how to get at the RGB settings for this keyboard?

Dec 13, 2021 · Windows settings and HP utilities can be a confusing labyrinth -- I've had my microphone disappear because I disabled it on some setting and it ended up becoming invisible to the system. This could be a similar situation -- you toggled some privacy setting disallowing webcam input and it dominoed system wide.

Jan 24, 2022 · I just bought the Elitebook 845 G8 and am testing it. Before, I tried the 830 G8 and the 830 g5 (used) but sent them back because their noise was too annoying. I looked at a lot of other similar Laptops - Thinkpad T14/P14, Dell 7420 9420, HP ZBook Firefly 14 G8 - but after reading a ton of reviews I decided for the HP Elitebook Series.

There is a molex connector that you can split off from if you wish. You can also use these 3.5" to 2.5" HDD adapters from HP that fit without issue HP Part No. 2654540-001. Usually cheaper than the 3rd party alternatives.
