HMS Untamed (Lt. Gordon Maurice Noll, RN) foundered in the Clyde during training with the 84th Escort Group on 30 May 1943. The entire crew was lost with the ship. She was salvaged in late June / early July 1943. She was then refitted and renamed HMS Vitality. She was recommissioned on 14 June 1944. She was decommissioned to reserve in August 1945.
