Dec 30, 2016 · I have both a v1 and v7 HK45 full size, and converted my 45C from v1 to v7. The V1 is German made, low serial number, and I left it V1 as that's how it came NIB. My V7 also came that way, I prefer Light LEM as more similar to my VP9 (not same obviously, but similar).

Mar 29, 2015 · Considering getting the V7 LEM model of the HK45 Tactical. I have a SIG P229 DAK, and love the trigger, so is it safe to assume the two triggers are alike? (LEM and DAK) Also, is the factory V7 the light or heavy LEM? I read somewhere that HK started shipping the V7s as light LEM. Any thoughts or input on the HK45 with LEM are welcomed.

Apr 6, 2025 · I’ve carried the HK45 V7 LEM for a bit and it’s a fantastic gun, but it's definitely on the larger side for EDC, especially in warmer weather. I had no issues carrying it in winter, but during summer, I preferred something smaller like the P30SK.

Jul 10, 2019 · I've got an HK45 Compact Tactical V7. Love it. I've also bought a non-threaded barrel for it and just ordered some flat base plate mags to bring it down to its most concealable size. I was thinking about an appendix holster, but honestly, I'm really uncomfortable with the idea of having the V7 pointed at my thighs.
