Dec 14, 2008 · Make a clone of a suppressor shrouding a full 16" barrel, or just go 51K pistol or SBR. Putting a can on a 51K? Does NOT work very well. Doesn't work well as in suppression, or cycling the action? OK, here it is in the beginning stage.

Oct 22, 2021 · The HK51 is not a gun that was ever actually produced by Heckler & Koch. It is instead a variation on the G3/HK91 originally developed by American H&K specialist Bill Fleming. He was contracted by a UK-based company called FR Ordnance to produce a submachine gun sized version of the G3 for British SAS and SBS use.

Mar 30, 2016 · Basically, the HK51K is a super compact 7.62. They made those, the regular HK51 and they made the HK51B, which was a beltfed model. I believe PCS still makes these types of guns (check their website under Dragons). Here's the HK51B.

Dec 12, 2023 · The history of the 51 as I understand it is that it was created for UK police to react to an IRA ambush while in low-profile mode. The incredible noise and muzzle flash was a key feature for the weapon, not a bug. So if anyone made an SD version it was just to enjoy the drama of cutting the barrel and then trying to mitigate the outcome.

Nov 15, 2007 · I have a 51 made by the un-named company with a cast reciever. It currently has a "K" model stock - I absolutely hate the Choate K folding stock on this weapon. It has a recoil rod that appears to be set up for a standard 91 type weapon.

The MC-51SD is a possibly fake, British battle carbine, developed from the previously tested HK G3 conversion known as the MC-51. It was purportedly issued to special forces groups in the United Kingdom for trials to replace the dated, and at the time in-service, L34A1 suppressed submachine gun.

May 29, 2019 · According to the website Elite UK Forces, the SBS (Special Boat Service) had what could best be referred to as a G3 SD, with reference to the HK MP5 SD. It was an MC51 with an integrated suppressor was made in limited numbers only.

Oct 1, 2022 · With full-power 7.62mm NATO ammunition and all of an 8.3 inch barrel, the HK51 serves best as an attention-getter on a range full of other machine guns… Anyone here knows more about these ? I have fired a 51 that a buddy owns and I will say it does get your attention. The muzzle blast is terrific.
