Your description above doesn't give the specifics of the rifle in terms of which stock, mags, etc., are included but $4,000 is into the range of a true, HK factory produced SR9-T (which has the MSG-90 buttstock and PSG-1 wood grip).

That is the reason why some get great accuracy in their 91s with cheap Federal 147 grain stuff, and they are not please with the 168 grain match ammo. I had Urbach take an SR9 barrel and thread the end some years ago for a PSG1-K project I was playing around with.

Jan 22, 2014 · I had a HK SR9, added factory wood target grip, 91 stock with adj cheek riser, and a Williams set trigger modification . Looked awesome, shot mediocre, and was the only rifle to give me a scope cut eyebrow from recoil (you learn a lot of lessons in your early 20’s).

Mar 11, 2017 · HK may have just thought about blowing out these black stocks rather that get stuck with them. HK never sold the thumbhole stocks separately (I asked back in the day). I believe (for what it's worth), the 911 black stocks were marked Bell and Carlson on the buttpad, while the typical black SR9 stocks were marked HK.
