Mar 3, 2015 · I bought a Sig MK-25 Navy really a P226 with special coating of parts. I passed on the HK P30 as I already have two HK USP Compacts,but could not pass their new HK VP9 bought it also.

Dec 23, 2007 · I'd call the 226 an A+ and the P30 an A+. The HK P30's grip is way better than the SIG, but the SIG trigger is better (the SRT even better), IMHO. I like the P226 grip better than the P229. My review of the P30, has some SIG stuff in it. A thread on SIG Forum about this topic.

May 22, 2019 · USP slide is about half an inch longer than P226 but it’s lighter (polymer frame vs metal). The USP grip is boxy and there is nothing you can do to it if you don’t like it. P226 has more grip choices.

Feb 17, 2009 · I have both a P30L and a P226.. granted my 226 is not an elite version, and its a .40, but its likely similar enough to the Sig you are considering.. IMO these are two totally different animals... the P30L has a great (in my opinion best I have felt) grip which is superior to the P226 (again IMO)... it is also lighter as the sig has a steel frame.
