Oct 23, 2004 · yes i have just installed an h22a into my 92 honda prelude si (h23a) and i need help with the wiring. I think TAB told me you just have to wire up the vtec solenoid, but can't remeber. Could you please send tell me which wires i need to tap into (either at the ecu or engine compartment harness). If you have a pic of this it would be great.

Feb 26, 2007 · Ok, i did a obd1 jdm H22a swap on my 92 prelude that didn't come with vtec. It came with an F22 engine. Anyways, i finished the swap and everything works, its drivable and all, just that the KNOCK SENSOR, IAB, and VTEC isn't wired up and thats what im having trouble with, i need to know how to wire it up or get some kinda info on how to do it.

Jan 12, 2004 · Now the installation of the H22A was fairly simple, same wiring, the LS wiring harness plugged right up. But we had to install 3 wires, they were for the VTEC Activation. There was also two week delay, because the motor came with no downpipe, so a DC Sport Ceramic Header was ordered. I picked up a P13 Ecu (OBD1 H22A VTEC ECU) and plugged it in.

Dec 11, 2009 · i have a h22a and the vtec sometimes doesnt kick in at all or it kicks in at diff rpms like 5500 or 6000, jw why it would do this. if im drivng and down shift it wont kick in i shut the car off and then it would work?

Sep 12, 2005 · The VTEC oil pressure switch grounds to the engine, and the blue wire with black stripe connects to D6. The VTEC solenoid valve has a green wire with a yellow stripe, and it connects to A4. The Knock sensor is a red wire with a blue stripe, and goes to D3. The IAB, if you chose, has a pink wire with blue stripe ran to A17.

Jan 15, 2009 · well,at this point i need to locate the external vtec oil line kit and then my h22vtec head is headed to an engine building/machine shop to have the vtec oil hole "plugged" and the oil ports matched up. only gonna run me 50 bucks to have the head done right.
