Feb 21, 2002 · The h22 is found on preludes and on accords in other countries like Japan and through out Europe. The h23 was found on USDM 92-96 prelude Si's. So why is a good swap? It is a direct bolt in replacement for our f22/f23 engines. Even the transmission can be used independent of the motor type. H22 motor can bolt to a f22 tranny and vice versa.

A car can only put down so much power regardless of what your engine is producing, and FWD platforms are the most limited of any drivetrain layout.

May 11, 2004 · Getting the H22 bolted in will require cutting tweaking and general rearrangement of the stock left side mount or purchasing the Hasports part for this swap. The Hasports part is solid aluminum and comes with a polyurethane bushing, which reduces engine movement but increases vibration compared to stock rubber.

Apr 29, 2003 · From what I hear it is pretty safe to run 8400-8500 rpm on a built h22 with the standard valve train mods, maybe not everyday but track wise. As for the tranny I'm looking more for something like a rebiuld kit with synchros and stuff. It isn't blown or anything I am just wanting to put new synchros and bearings in it.
