Aug 10, 2005 · Seems like his first experience with the Berserk armor at the treehouse caused (lots of) new wounds and aggravated all the old ones, you could see them all popping open and bleeding when the helmet goes down in front of Farnese and Casca.

Jul 22, 2014 · I don't think his face change is too bad. I like it regardless, and it's more of expression on how Miura may have evolved his style as well throughout the years. Either way, the best thing about Guts' design is his hair. It's just amazing.

Miura only provided a guide for Umakoshi on how to design properly the face expressions, body, accessories and how to simplify the overall designs for each character. But the designer for that show was Umakoshi.

In the Berserk series, the character Guts stands at a height of 6'8" (204 cm). He is a tall, muscular man with short, spiked, black hair. He bears numerous scars from battles and is missing his left forearm and right eye after an encounter with the God Hand.
