The Gup-R is a Gup that appears in Season 5, more specifically The Bluefin Tuna and The Wood Eating Catfish. It returns later in Octonauts: Above & Beyond as the main gup that is driven by Calico Jack.

Its speed is moderate, but it has a turbo booster that can make it go almost as fast as the Gup-B. It is used in almost all missions. More ⇉. The Gup-B is a shark-styled Gup with one seat.
