Aug 10, 2022 · Been looking for a double stack 9mm, and I’ve narrowed it down to a Guncrafter Hellcat x2(customized), Atlas Athena, and a Nighthawk trs comp. I can get the Guncrafter in 6 months, the Athena now, and the nighthawk in 18-22 months. I’ve never held/operated a Guncrafter but have had some experience with atlas and NH.

May 28, 2024 · In typical Guncrafter pistols, the pistols were both boring reliable, just like a Guncrafter, all built like a tank. But the HOSS is built like a tank with additional armor. When I shot the HOSS first, I thought ok, nice pistol, but when I picked up my other Guncrafter and shot it, to my surprise I could feel a slight difference.

Jan 14, 2019 · Guncrafter is the safest bet. They produce the smallest number annually and each passes inspection by Alex the owner. Nighthawk is amazing too, but quality control sometimes varies. I have started buying my hawks preowned when I find a great deal, that way any extra cost to correct anything or update parts is not big deal.

Jan 22, 2023 · I own a Guncrafter Hellcat x2 commder and absolutely love it! I am now debating between Alchemy 2011 or a Nighthawk or just get another Guncrafter! I know this has been discussed many times but I would like to hear from my fellow addicts on this subject! I own Wilson Brown, Dave Dawson built me two very nice guns but looking at something different!

Oct 16, 2021 · Guncrafter does not make their own 2011 magazines and my expectation when I bought my X2 was that I can use any quality magazine on the market today. If it was known to Alex that MBX magazines were not only incompatible but can be downright damaging I would expect a warning notice in the bag with Don’t Use MBX Magazines in big red letters.

May 24, 2020 · Guncrafter No Name Government, 9mm (10rnd): my overall impression is of remarkable build quality. The gun is tight, zero play or rattles and the slide has decent resistance but is very smooth to manipulate. The trigger is so short and crisp it is initially hard for me to anticipate- which is a great thing.
