It now joins my 1984 Guild S280 electric and 1991 Guild Pilot Bass. 1974 Guild D35: It's naturally relic'd with checking, dings, scratches and whatnots. All lovely! The tone is tight, with great resonance and articulation. It has a nice bottom end with great mids and highs.

It seems like the only difference from what I can tell besides cosmetics is the arched back of the D-25 vs. the straight back of the D-35, and from what I've been reading online it seems that more people generally prefer the arched back D-25 to the D-35.

Guild guitars are among the best built and sounding guitars no matter where they were produced. Don't be afraid to buy a Guild that came from Tacoma or New Hartford.
