Guardian Angel is comprised of Combat Rescue Officers, Pararescuemen, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialists and uniquely trained support personnel dedicated to the Air Force core function of Personnel Recovery.

This manual outlines standard operating procedures for PJ and CRO operations during Personnel Recovery and/or sensitive item recovery operations, and in support of Global Access and Precision Strike operations when applicable.

May 10, 2022 · The 68th RQS, also known as the Guardian Angel Formal Training Unit, is the only unit that administers this course. The 68th RQS hosts the CLC twice a year, with this year’s participation totaling 24 Airmen.
