Jan 18, 2009 · Mate in Bris put a GU ute cab on a SWB GQ chassis and it looked aweful until he went MWB. Also had a problem with the lower rear control arm fouling on the underside of the back of the cab because of the amount of overhang it has behind the rear body mount.

Jul 15, 2013 · GU has a wide body and GQ coil spring has narrower diffs than GU, so would look odd to start with. GQ leaf spring has even narrower diffs so would look positively awkward. I agree with Clunk, why bother?
