The main difference is the 03-04's are a a bit bigger, and have a more stable feeling than the newer bikes. The newer bikes have a lighter, more compact feeling and a quicker turn-in. Apr 8, 2014 · gsxr 1000 from 2001-2002 PS: The side fairings from a 1000 are not really interchangeable with other models.. everything else is. Front fender: 01-03 600, 00-03 750, 01-02 1000 are the same fender. 04-05 600/750, 03-04 1000 are the same fender but won't fit the above models without modifying the rear fender mounts.

Jul 22, 2008 · Many exhaust companies, e.g. LOR and Yoshimura, recommend removal of the O2 and a PC install requires it. It's just a pretty primitive lambda system that really doesn't work all that well, frankly. The wires on an 07/08 1000 are the W/b and O/w wires. lopping them with blade clips means you can reverse the procedure any time.
