Sep 20, 2021 · If we have to entertain the thought that Gregory, Broly, etc are now "canon" then we are living in an age when basically anything in Dragonball can be canon now. And if anything can be canon, then everything is canon. So... all the Z movies, all the filler-only characters. all the card games, video games, etc, all of it is now "canon."
Is Gregory the cricket in the manga? : r/dbz - Reddit
Aug 21, 2015 · He was non-canon until Dragon Ball Super debuted him. Strangely, he still hasn't been featured in the DBS manga, but regardless, pretty sure DBS finally made Gregory canon. It's also worth noting that Akira Toriyama did design Gregory, so one could argue that he has always been canon. Source

Oct 8, 2014 · vid, but Gregory appeared in the background of at least one scene in BoG. I disagree with his use of that one little thing to suggest that the movie isn't canon to anything but the anime though. Containing one anime-only character as a background-filler character doesn't mean a whole lot.
Where was Gregory in Battle of the Gods? : r/dbz - Reddit
Dec 12, 2013 · While Gregory was created by Akira Toriyama specifically for the anime (as noted in the 1989 Dragon Ball Z Anime Special guide and elsewhere), he has never been in anything Toriyama wrote himself. Do you think Bubbles amd gregory look like saiyan and namekian?
Gregory is a green insect with two antennas. He reminds me of a namekian So, the king kai with two pets representing the two strongest species of his part of the universe.
Alright let's settle this debate once and for all what is ... - Reddit
We can know this because the character Gregory does appear in the anime, who is not canon (doesn't appear in DBZ manga, unlike Bubbles) Also we can know that super's anime isn't canon because in the Zamas saga Trunks remembers transforming into SS for the first time when Future Gohan dies. In the DBZ manga this doesn't happen.

Apr 27, 2022 · Xenoverse 2 currently covers the entirety of DBZ, Super (only up to where the anime ended and including the movie), has bonus content based on GT and the movies and a shit-ton of what-ifs and custom character interactions.

Oct 17, 2020 · Ignoring the whole "Gregory is a filler character" comment that I'm sure someone else will bring up, Goku tells Gohan and the others that Kaiou could have been revived by the wish, but instead chose to remain dead to follow Goku to heaven and keep him company. Presumably Bubbles did the same.
Is Yo! Son Goku and his Friends Return canon? : r/dbz - Reddit
May 26, 2015 · Piggybacking off of VegEx's post to state my own take on things as a long-time DBZ fan. In my opinion, DBZ canon can be defined as having "levels", similar to how the old Star Wars canon went pre-April 2014. If something in the higher level of canon contradicts the previous level then that, to me, is what takes precedence.
