The GPSA exists to advocate for the rights and interests of our diverse community, to provide for the enjoyment of social, cultural, and service-oriented events, and for the betterment of academic and non-academic life of all graduate and professional students at UC San Diego.

Fosters relationships between graduate students at UCSD and the greater San Diego community, specifically those who belong to historically underrepresented and under-resourced communities in academia (appointed by the VP of Equity, Diveristy and Inclusion).

Each year, the GPSA allocates a variety of funds for graduate and professional student organizations and programs to use to support their communities. Generally, the GPSA supports events, activities, and student groups that are inclusive of all graduate and professional students.

The Graduate & Professional Student Association works on behalf of all graduate and professional students to advocate and represent the issues, needs, and concerns of graduate/professional students at UCSD.
