In the series finale "Come Along With Me", it's shown that Goliad and Stormo are still fighting through their minds at the Candy Kingdom castle, which is now part of the Pup Kingdom ruled by Gibbon. Due to their immortality, Goliad and Stormo will likely continue with their battle forever.

Nearly bested, Finn and Jake are about to be beaten when Bubblegum returns with a new sphinx named Stormo, made from Finn's DNA. Goliad tries to convince Stormo to join forces with her, but the latter refuses.

Both Goliad and Stormo resemble sphinxes, creatures that in legend possess attributes of three creatures: the human, the lion and a large bird. While Goliad and Stormo both have lion-like bodies, the bird and humanoid features vary between them.
