Super Saiyan 4 is the most unique of the traditional Super Saiyan line and dramatically changes a Saiyan's appearance. Most notably, Son Gokū gained crimson-magenta fur across his upper torso, leaving only parts of his chest and below his wrists exposed.

The Super Saiyan 4 form was first achieved by Goku after transforming into a Golden Great Ape and witnessing his granddaughter Pan crying to calm him down.
