Jan 26, 2022 · Legendary rock band The Go-Go’s have had a career full of big hits and exciting tours, all while paving the way for bands that would follow. Now, the band has teamed up with the Frito-Lay and Netflix for the Stranger Things Doritos Music Fest ’86.

From their very first show, The Go-Go’s sang and played their own songs, offering five feisty role models for a generation of ready-to-rock girls and good, hooky fun for pop-loving guys. Their story truly is a punk version of the American Dream.

The Go-Go’s became a global phenomenon and blazed brand-new trails in music – for women in particular. Their meteoric ascent, however, was marred by band tension and drugs, fueled in part by their rapid rise to fame.
