Our hunting area has a very strong black bear population with the expectation of a 6 1/2 to 7 foot bear being reasonable. The real jewel of our area is that it is in the heart of the most productive (Glacier Bear) country in the state.

We start our first spring hunt in mid-April and hunt through the end of the season on May 31st, then again from September 1st until late October. We combine our Brown Bear hunts with Coastal Black Bear or Glacier Bear in the spring and Wolf or Moose in the fall.
