Feb 16, 2002 · For this price range, I would definitly suggest you to try to find a new 2001 bike. 800-1000CDN is the price range at which the hardtail bikes start to have good components (usually Judy forks, Deore derailleurs, etc). If you can find a 2001 bike for around 1000$, it would be the equivalent of a 2002 bike that cost around 1300$ (depending on the shop.)

The Maestro suspension of the Giant actually feel very similar to the VPP bikes that Santa Cruz and Intense makes, in my opinion, and I personally think the DW-Link of the Sunday is a superior design than the Maestro of the Giant.

Apr 24, 2014 · Maybe the Giant Trance Sx does the trick for you. BB drop = -11mm. They are also on the cheaper side of enderpo bikes. The Canyon 9.0 EX should also be a great offer. BB drop= -17mm.
