Jul 12, 2023 · I played Gex 2 and 3 just last year back to back (also played them as a kid for the first time back then). Gex 3 improves on everything over Gex 2 (graphics, level design and themes, hub worlds, power ups). I even played both versions of Gex 3: first the ps1 version to 100% completion, then a "main path playthrough" of the N64 version.

Jul 12, 2023 · The platforming in Gex 2 is way worse than 3, you are constantly fighting the camera and the collision is pretty bad overall. 3 understood to cut down on those extensive platforming sequences making more focused and compact levels. But yes, I am half expecting a racism disclaimer like the Battle Network collection lol
