Jun 11, 2022 · if you lose to people ranked lower than you you lose a lot more points. likewise if you win against people higher than you you gain more points. if you wanna climb you gotta consistently place in at least the top 3, everything below that you will lose a significant amount of points because there are guaranteed to still be lower rated players in there.

Jan 22, 2023 · You earn those ratings in the Multiplayer game modes. If you look down in yours, or any other players stats, you will see they all have Battle Royale Countries, Battle Royale Distance, and Duels, games played/wins/ avg rating/Win% standings.

Sep 30, 2021 · There are 100 ranks per tier with 1 being the lowest and 100 the highest. I don't know if it's absolute (so 100 players per tier) or a percentile. So the best player would be Global Division, Tier I, Rank 100.

Oct 20, 2021 · ranks are 1-100, there is no matchmaking based on rank yet, system is ELO-like where the higher you are the harder it is to gain more and visa versa as most players are unranked or lower ranked (lots of new mobile players it seems which is great).

You can then separate the leaderboard into ranks according to elo (for example 1500 elo = Champion) and you are good to go. Mixing those two systems is confusing, unnecessary and not working. The only way the ladder system would work is by promoting according to win % or points gained/lost during the games.
