May 7, 2012 · My theory is this: Genesect is a modified ancestor of Scizor. Scyther evolved (Darwinian) from Kabutops, which used to be water/bug type and had an extra evolution that became Scizor through the ages. Maybe we’ll get a prehistoric Pokémon game one day with the original Kabutops as well as its pre-Scizor evolution.
[Lore Bits] A Genesect overview - No, it's not a Kabutops!
Apr 2, 2023 · Kabutops and Genesect Types being completely different settles the matter: even if the Water Type was lost in favour of a fresh Steel armour, there’s no reason for the Rock to leave space for Bug - which the Pokédex confirms it was present since the very beginning in the Unovan hunter.
[Fluff] Relationship between genesect and kabutops : r/pokemon
Mar 13, 2014 · Thats still a span of 999,999 years for them to evolve(the Darwin kind) and change a little bit. Kabutops already walked on land; the post isn't saying Genesect IS a Kabutops, it's something closely related that evolved shortly later.
Hole in Genesect=Kabutops theory. : r/pokemon - Reddit
Jan 13, 2022 · Kabutops is a sea creature, Genesect is prehistoric insect of some kind (This is shown in the movie, where they literally make a giant nest and shoot "webs") While there are some similarities between them, there are also many incongruences, like their "hands", if team plasma wanted to make the strongest pokémon why would they remove Kabutops ...
Finally Solving Genesect's Origin : r/pokemon - Reddit
Aug 3, 2018 · 1) Kabutops. We're starting out with the worst choice on the list. Kabutops is the Shellfish Pokémon. It's not a bug. Putting that aside, it doesn't even look like Genesect. Its body has no well-defined abdomen, it has two toes, it has blades instead of arms. 2) Armaldo. Another fossil Pokémon, but again not correct. Armaldo's body plan is ...
Genesect: the missing link between the Kabutops evolutionary
Dec 15, 2012 · Genesect: the missing link between the Kabutops evolutionary family and the Scyther evolutionary family. To begin with, Kabuto’s pokedex entry states that “it is thought to have inhabited beaches 300 million years ago” while kabutops’ entries repeatedly state how it was believed to adapt onto land because of its prey.
Genesect/ Kabutops Theory : r/pokemonconspiracies - Reddit
Sep 16, 2014 · Kabutops is Rock-/Water-type because it is a fossil Pokémon. It's plausible in the ancient times it was even simply a Water-type. On that same vein, it's plausible that Genesect, as a branched evolution from Kabuto, was a Bug-type, or a Bug-/Water-type, and it's the modifications that Team Plasma made that have turned it into part Steel-type.
I Have a Theory : r/pokemon - Reddit
Mar 1, 2023 · I have heard people say that Genesect is a paradox Kabutops. But, Kabutops is a fossil pokemon, which means he is probably a past form of some current pokemon. I think that pokemon has already been revealed. My theory is that they are past and future forms for somebody from the scyther line.
