You could try a master reset. If that does not work, your watch is dead. You can contact Garmin support and ask for a replacement. For the 6X they are charging about 175$/Euro I think. Master Reset: Ensure the watch is powered off. You may need to hold LIGHT for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off. Press and hold DOWN, START/STOP, and BACK/LAP.

Fenix5 died, common issue or odd occasion? Couple of Days ago my Fenix looked as if it was turned off, thought battery was empty so connected it to the charger. Started again when I connected it but with 52% battery left.

Dec 2, 2021 · Have you tried using Garmin Express to see if it communicates? I would connect that and see if it recognizes the watch, if it doesn't then may be dead. Then see if it let's you perform an update or reset. Not sure what else there is to check.

Watch has had charging issues for a couple of months. Have cleaned the charging unit on the watch which worked intermittently but then it stopped charging at all. Have bought a new cable in case it was faulty but watch is now dead and failing to charge at all.
