You can use the GPS navigation features on your device to view your path on a map, save locations, and find your way home.

You can add the map to the data screens loop for an activity profile. Select an activity profile. Select Menu > Activity Settings > Data Screens > Map > Status > On.

When you start the timer and begin to move, a black line appears on the map, showing you where you have traveled.

I tried to find where in Garmin Connect to import a GPX or TCX without luck. then I tried to take and existing course TCX and just copy to NewFiles as I do with my bike Garmin units.

Select Menu > Navigation > Courses. Select a course. Select an option: Select Map to view the course on the map. Select Elevation Profile to view an elevation plot of the course. Select Name to view and edit the name of the course.

Have this model preloaded maps or you have to bought it. The aspect depicted is a blank (white) screen with the route. This watch does not support any kind of mapping. The screen that is called "Map" can only display a preloaded course or a GPS track with your position relative to it.

My forerunner 735xt doesn't show anymore map of my activity in app garmin connect or strava. GPS is on. I tried everything with activity settings on watch. Also running dynamics don't show anymore. I use HRM run. Any clue for setting I missed or deselected?
