Odie in Love ( Félin pour l'autre) is the 18thUS/6thEU episode from the first season of The Garfield Show. Jon comes back from grocery shopping with a new pet brush. Garfield isn't keen on the idea since he can take care of his own hygiene, but Odie doesn't mind trying it out.

After Lorenzo Music (Garfield's voice actor) died in 2001, Davis made a drawing of a saddened Garfield, who can only say two words: "I'm speechless." One 1986 arc had Garfield and Odie get lost in town. While a good chunk of the arc was comedic, it did have its share of sad moments.
