Mar 31, 2015 · Hi there. I signed up for a Gap store card back in September - they gave me a credit limit of $200 - I've tried a couple of times since to request an increase, with no success. I've since read that you're eligible for one every 4 months - I don't remember when I requested the first one, but the second one I requested yesterday and was denied again.

Apr 13, 2021 · Looks like Gap and Synch couldn't come to terms, so Gap will be moving their credit card accounts to Barclays in April 2022. The switch also involves changing over from Visa to MC. Not sure if this is applicable to both Visa and store cards.

Jun 8, 2016 · OK interesting! It's for the store card not the Visa. I guess other data points would be that I have an Amazon Prime card with them. I also just placed an online order with Gap a few days ago but paid with a bank card (order things from them 4-5 times a year). Maybe it's like a random, delayed SCT of sorts lol.
